Beginners Propagation
Would you like to be able to reproduce new plants from your already existing plants? Germinating seeds, dividing plants or taking cuttings are all methods of propagation that are very easy ways to increase stock of your favourite plants or to share with friends. With a small initial outlay for materials and equipment, propagating is a very sustainable and economic way to create a beautiful garden with plants grown in a very satisfying way.
In this workshop we will be learning about some of the ways to propagate and to which plants and when these methods should be applied. We will run through the various growing mediums, containers as well as discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each method.
As with our all other workshops, the groups will be small and friendly and held in a private garden with hands-on activities to demonstrate all the various techniques.
